Lehigh Career & Technical Institute will be featured in an upcoming segment of "Today in America" with Terry Bradshaw, entitled "Preparing Students for Today's Workforce Demands."
The segment is part of the show's American Education series.
The "Today in America" segment explores the critical role LCTI plays in helping to meet manufacturers' needs for qualified workers.
The five-minute segment was filmed on location at LCTI's 500,000-square-foot facility in Schnecksville.
Hundreds of thousands of jobs are going unfilled as America's manufacturers are struggling to find qualified workers.
Founded in 1970, LCTI is playing an instrumental role in training students to fill the modern manufacturing jobs of today.
The largest career and technical school in Pennsylvania, and the third largest in the nation, LCTI offers over 40 approved career and technical programs.
The school's core manufacturing programs include electromechanical/mechatronics technology; precision machine/CNC technology and welding technology.
LCTI teaches high school students and adult learners.
The school also works closely with businesses to design customized job training programs.
"Today in America" combs the nation and the globe to bring viewers fascinating stories and firsthand insights from entrepreneurs and leaders within various industries.
Hosted by Terry Bradshaw, the television show educates viewers on a wide variety of emerging concepts, suitable for families, businesses, lifestyles and financial futures.
