Gockley and Steckel schools will celebrate Halloween Friday, Oct. 26.
The Steckel parade will take place from 1:35 to 2:35 p.m.
At the Gockley building, all kindergarten children should come to school wearing costumes.
The first graders will bring their costumes and will change into them after lunch. Parents are asked to be sure costumes for children are simple and require minimal assistance. Costumes should not depict violence.
The morning kindergarten children will begin their parade at 10 a.m. from the front of the school. They will walk around the macadam circle in front of the building. All parents are asked to stand on the grass.
The afternoon kindergarten and first graders will use the same procedure for the 1:25 p.m. parade.
In the event of rain, the parade will be held in the gym and in the cafeteria, where parents can line up along the walls.
Parents should not park in front of the school or along the grass but rather in the high school stadium parking lot.
