Fraud alert
There is a scam known to be taking place where an item is advertised for sale and the "interested party" will send a check or money order in an amount exceeding the seller's price. The seller is then instructed to cash the check or money order and send back the difference "less a few dollars for your inconvenience," in the form of cash or money order. The check or money order takes a few days to clear the bank and ends up being fraudulent and any amount sent to the "buyer" is the victim's loss. Please be aware of these types of scams.
