District website: Be sure to check out many upcoming events and important information via the district website, www.whitehallcoplay.org/districtsite/index.html.
You can access lunch information, important health room news, information on PTO events, special building activities and resources for parents and students.
Take time to check the website for your child's school. Many schools are going green and suggest you visit the site to read school newsletters.
Study Island: Students have access to a web-based program that makes for excellent practice in reading and math.
Study Island is located at www.studyisland.com and can be accessed from the link on the school district website.
Students log in with the username and password they receive in computer class.
Attendance rules: All children are expected to attend school each day unless they are ill or a family emergency occurs.
If a child will miss school because of a trip, a trip form must be completed before the student leaves.
Parents are asked to remember that a written note explaining the child's absence is a requirement within the three days of the student's return to school.
Students are also asked not to be late to school. Tardiness interrupts instructional time.
Parents should accompany children to the office when they are late.
