Gastroenterologist Ayaz Matin, MD, has recently joined the St. Luke's University Health Network in the St. Luke's Gastroenterology Specialists practice.
Dr. Matin has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the esophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts.
Matin received a medical degree from The Aga Khan University Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan, and completed his residency program in internal medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital-Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia. He completed an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, N.Y.
Matin is giving a free talk, "Stop Heartburn in its Tracks!," 6 p.m. Oct. 17, Education Center Room 113, St. Luke's University Hospital - Bethlehem.
