Couple celebrates 60 years

Edward and Catherine Mrowka of Northampton recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married in Shamokin June 14, 1952.

They are the proud parents of Cindy Miles and her husband, David, and Edward Mrowka Jr. and his wife, Carol.

They have four grandchildren: Marcy Miles Tremblay, and her husband, James; Kristy Miles Valladares, and her husband, Bryan; Eddie Mrowka III, and his wife, Mindy; and Danny Mrowka. They also have one great-granddaughter: Abigail Catherine Tremblay.

The couple, who has lived in Northampton for 50 years, was honored at an open house at their Willow Green Clubhouse.

They will also celebrate with a trip to Punta Cana and hope to have many more years together.
