LeatherCrafters 4-H Club of Northampton County is reforming for the 2012-13 year, with meetings running through April.
The first meeting of the year will be held on Friday, Oct. 19. From January to April, the club will meet on the first and third Friday of each month.
The club is looking for new members ages 8-18. LeatherCrafters 4-H members learn how to tool and craft leather, making projects to be exhibited at the 4-H Fair in August and used by members.
Projects range from very simple items for the younger or less experienced members through more intricate and detailed items for the older or more experienced members.
Participants are expected to purchase their own materials. The club will supply basic tools, stains and lacing. Small projects will be available for purchase from the club.
Members also pay fees.
The meetings are held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moorestown, 7:30-9 p.m. Membership is limited so reserve your space early.
