Cedar Crest College has appointed Debra W. Khateeb as director of development.

She will be responsible for major and planned gift fund-raising, and will direct the private and government grant program. In addition, she will work with the Cedar Crest Fund and reunion classes.

Prior to joining Cedar Crest, she was executive director of foundation relations for the Montgomery County Community College Foundation, Inc., Blue Bell.

Her professional experience includes leadership roles in private schools in the United Arab Emirates and Germany, nonprofit organizations, and college development programs.

Khateeb is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

She received a B.A. in political science from Susquehanna University. She resides in Birdsboro.
