Rougies Report

The PSAT test will be administered in the Catasauqua High School cafeteria on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 8 to 11 a.m. The deadline to register is noon on Friday, Oct. 12.

This test is for any junior who is planning to attend a four-year college. Sophomores may take this test for practice only but will be required to take it again as a junior.

The guidance office has announced that representatives from St. Joseph's University will be at the high school on Tuesday Oct. 9 to speak with interested juniors and seniors. Representatives from Gwynedd-Mercy and McCann School of Business & Technology will be at the school on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Check the guidance office bulletin board for specific times.

Any junior or senior who is planning on playing a Division 1 or Division II sport while attending college must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center at ncaaeligibilitycenter.org.

Log onto the link and follow the directions for completing the transcript release form. Students must bring this form to the high school guidance office.

The fee for registering is $65, payable by credit card only. Students will not be eligible to play a college sport until this process is complete.
