Couple wed at Weisenberg Lutheran Church

Jewel M. Shultz and Brian D. Heintzelman of New Tripoli were married Dec. 17, 2011.

The Rev. Raymond Hand officiated at the ceremony at Weisenberg Lutheran Church.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Morgan's, South Whitehall Township, and a reception was held at Willow Tree Grove, Orefield.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Debbie Shultz of Bath.

She graduated from Northampton Area High School in 2001 and received a Bachelor's degree in sociology from Moravian College in 2005 and a Master's degree in educational leadership from Wilkes University in 2009.

She is a third-grade teacher for the Whitehall-Coplay School District.

The groom is the son of Dennis and Lucille Heintzelman of New Tripoli.

He graduated from Northwestern Lehigh High School in 2003 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University in 2007.

He is an engineer for UGI Energy Services, Reading.

Maid of honor was Shannon McCarney of Hoboken, N.J., a friend of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Rachel Shultz of Bath and Jaime Heintzelman of Allentown, sisters-in-law of the bride; Lauren Martz of Bloomsburg, cousin of the bride; Kelli Paluska and Amy Gough, both of Hoboken, and Melissa Bodnar Arifaj of Breinigsville, friends of the bride.

Alanna Lynch of Breinigsville, stepdaughter of the cousin of the groom, was flower girl.

Best man was Daniel Heintzelman of Allentown, brother of the groom.

Ushers were Ryan Shultz of Bath, brother of the bride; John Reinert of Alburtis, and James Reinert of Breinigsville, cousins of the groom; John Caruano of Dover, Del., Josh Gross of Slatington and Nathan Hunsicker of Schnecksville, friends of the groom.

Nathan Martz of Bloomsburg, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

Following a trip to Italy, the couple is residing in New Tripoli.
