Cow pie bingo Oct. 13

The annual fall festival will be held at the community center 11 a.m. Oct. 13. The Lehigh German Shepherd Festival will be featured. Also included are the children's activities and the popular cow pie bingo. The kitchen will also be open. Crafters and vendors are asked to contact Sherry at 610-966-4533. Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kindergarten, first and second grade girls interested in joining the Camp Fire Girls may call Katie DeIaco at 610-966-4663. Hoagie sales have resumed. To place an order, call 610-966-4663.

The Alburtis Senior Citizens meet noon Sept. 19 at the Gun Club on Gun Club Road. Meetings will resume at the Church of the Good Shepherd, U.C.C., Penn Avenue and Quarry Road in October.

Friday night bingo resumes at the Alburtis Community Center Oct. 5. Doors open 5:30 p.m. and games begin 7 p.m.

Weekends continue at Alburtis Park noon to 8 p.m. Activities include bingo, games and home cooked foods. Country bands will play 3 to 8 p.m. including Sept. 22 Wallace Brothers; Sept. 23 R.J. Coltin and the Rolling Thunder Band; Sept. 29 South Bound; Sept. 30 Frankie Roberts Ranch Show.
