A Colonial Ball will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the Holiday Inn, 904 Hamilton St., Allentown.

The event, which is open to the public, celebrates the 250th anniversary of Zion's "Liberty Bell Church" and the 50th anniversary of the Liberty Bell Museum.

Professional colonial re-enactors will talk with guests about what life was like in the colonial era. Guests will enjoy live period music, colonial artifacts and dancers who will demonstrate and teach colonial dances popular in the 1770s, the time of Allentown's founding. There will also be a colonial style meal.
