DUI
Kara Mercado, 33, of Emmaus, was arrested for DUI on S. 8th Street, Emmaus, 12:43 a.m. July 28. Mercado was allegedly under the influence during a traffic stop.
Alexander Smith, 23, of Allentown, was arrested for DUI on State Route 222 northbound at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:18 a.m. Aug. 10. Smith was stopped for a traffic violation and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.
A 16-year-old female, of Emmaus, was arrested for DUI on State Route 29 at Green Drive, Emmaus, 1:46 a.m. Aug. 12. The juvenile was stopped for a moving violation and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. A 17-year-old female passenger, of Emmaus, was also cited with underage drinking for allegedly being intoxicated during the stop.
Ramis Zekiroski, 20, of Yonkers, N.Y., was arrested for DUI and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance on State Route 29 at Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, 2:13 a.m. Aug. 13. Zekiroski was stopped for multiple traffic violations and was allegedly found to be under the influence and in possession of a controlled substance.
Joshua Kulp, 25, of Emmaus, was arrested for DUI on Interstate 78 westbound at Lehigh Street, Salisbury Township, 12:52 a.m. Aug. 14. Kulp was stopped for several traffic violations and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Criminal mischief
An unknown perpetrator damaged a vehicle in the 7400 block of Columbine Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between Aug. 3 and 8.
Criminal trespass
Reed Harris, 47, of Emmaus, allegedly trespassed on Buckeye Pipeline property Aug. 9. There were tire marks of an ATV or similar vehicle on Buckeye's property leading to the home of Harris. Harris told police he had permission from an employee but was informed the manager is no longer employed by the company. He was asked not to ride the vehicle on Buckeye property for liability reasons. It is unknown whether Buckeye Pipeline will be pressing charges.
