DUI

Christopher Vogel, of Alburtis, was arrested for DUI on Weilers Road at Walbert Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 7:21 p.m. Aug. 5. Vogel was traveling north on Walbert Lane and was unable to stop for a posted stop sign. His vehicle traveled through the intersection and struck a PPL pole. Vogel allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication when police arrived.

Ron Oneill, 20, of Allentown, was arrested for DUI on Orchid Place at Macungie Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, 2:33 a.m. Aug. 9. Oneill lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the northern edge of the road striking a telephone pole and overturning his Hyundai Elantra. Oneill suffered minor injuries and was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol.

Simple assault

Thomas Morris, 34, of Upper Milford, was arrested for simple assault in the 4100 block of Ford Drive, Upper Milford Township, 5:57 p.m. July 29. Morris allegedly drove his vehicle toward two victims at a high rate of speed, almost hitting them.

Disorderly conduct

Robert Wolff, 52, of Goldenrod Drive, Lower Macungie Township, was cited with disorderly conduct at his home Aug. 1. Wolff was allegedly extremely intoxicated when police arrived for reports of a male yelling obscenities while nude in the backyard. Wolff resisted medical treatment and was restrained by troopers and EMS personnel.

Harassment

Abigail Somogyi, 37, of East Greenville, was cited with harassment for an incident in the 5800 block of Indian Creek Road, Upper Milford Township, Aug. 2. Somogyi allegedly sent harassing text messages to the victim and continued after being asked to stop.

Robert Wolff, 52, of Goldenrod Drive, Lower Macungie Township was cited with harassment at his home Aug. 2. Wolff allegedly shoved the victim and struck her in the face.

George Myers, 23, and Candice Messinger, 21, were cited with harassment in the 4200 block of Ravenswood Road, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 2. The pair allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation that led to a fight.

Robert Roof, 46, of Macungie, was cited for harassment in the 6300 block of Pinecrest Lane, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 2. Roof allegedly attacked the victim causing minor injuries to his eye and arm.

A 39-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, was cited with harassment at 2382 Silvano Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 5. The female allegedly punched the victim in the head.

A female juvenile was cited for harassment in the 6300 block of Manzanita Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 11:24 p.m. Aug. 7. The actor was involved in an argument which resulted in the victim suffering minor scratches.

Criminal mischief

An unknown actor shot a bb through the front window of a home in the 4500 block of Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, July 27.

An unknown actor keyed a vehicle in the 1000 block of Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, July 29.

A female described as 16 to 18 years old with a skinny build and brown hair damaged a bottom metal panel of the victim's front screen door in the 4900 block of Pine Grove Circle, Lower Macungie Township, July 30.

Robbery

A black male entered the KNBT bank at Hamilton Boulevard and Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, and handed the teller a note demanding all of the money 2:45 p.m. Aug. 6. The teller provided an undetermined amount of cash and the subject fled the scene on foot.

Theft

An unknown actor stole two connectors from air conditioners outside Wells Fargo Bank, 2660 Cedar Crest Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, between July 1 and Aug. 3.

An unknown actor stole various tools from Reith Geothermal Energy Inc., 4857 Raymond Court, Upper Milford Township, between 12:30 and 1 a.m. July 30. The tools were valued at $55,850.

An unknown actor stole a laptop bag from a hotel room at the Wingate Hotel, 4325 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between noon and 2:45 p.m. July 30. The victim left the bag after checkout and returned to find it missing. The bag contained a Sony Vaio laptop, a Logitech headset and a Microsoft controller.

An unknown actor stole a trash can from a home in the 1400 block of Country Club Road, Lower Macungie Township, July 31.

An unknown actor stole lawn ornaments from a yard in the 2900 block of Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 3. The ornaments were valued at $160.

Identity theft

A black male between the ages of 35 and 50 attempted to withdraw $3,000 from an Emmaus resident's bank account at a Wells Fargo Bank in Bala Cynwyd. The suspect was denied access to the funds.

Theft from a

An unknown actor stole two bottles of prescription medication and a cell phone charger from a vehicle in the 5200 block of Hanover Drive, Lower Macungie Township, July 30.

Theft by deception

Matthew Kutoloski, of Allentown, and Reuben Veitch, of Walnutport, were charged with theft by deception and criminal conspiracy at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:45 p.m. Aug. 7. The pair allegedly attempted to return items they did not pay for.

Retail theft

A 17-year-old female, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:36 p.m. July 19. The actor allegedly attempted to conceal $5 worth of merchandise in her purse.

Maribel Guerrero, 18, of Macungie, was charged with retail theft at Kohl's, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., 4:55 p.m. July 19. Guerrero allegedly attempted to steal $60 worth of merchandise.

A 16-year-old female and two 14-year-old females were charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:35 p.m. July 20. The group allegedly attempted to steal $68.83 worth of merchandise. The 16-year-old was also allegedly found to be in possession of two marijuana pipes and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 17-year-old, of Allentown, and a 16-year-old, of Coplay, were charged with retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 7:22 p.m. July 22. The actors allegedly attempted to steal $51.08 worth of merchandise.

A juvenile male, of Macungie, was cited for retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, July 31. The male allegedly attempted to steal $17 worth of merchandise.

Ashley Lederach, 20, of Hereford, was cited for retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Aug. 1. Lederach allegedly attempted to steal $139.46 worth of merchandise.

Scattering rubbish

An unknown actor dumped garbage in the intersection of Seip Road and Furnace Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:15 p.m. July 27. The property is owned by Jaindl Farms.
